SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Hi! This is Mrs. Ruby Ann Alera! I am a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher from the Philippines with over 13 years of teaching experience supporting diverse learners. This is my first year at Monarch Elementary School, and I am so excited to teach my students and work together with our dedicated administrators and educators.
I enjoy photography, cooking, watching series, and traveling to explore new places and experiences. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student can grow and reach their full potential.
Please feel free to reach out, as your child's education is important to me. I am excited to work together with families and learn with my students throughout this wonderful journey!
PARAPROFESSIONAL
Hello, my name is Aaron Brown.
I am so excited to create milestones with everyone in Mrs. Alera's classroom this year. This will be my second year working as a teacher’s aide, though I feel I have known and watch those around me grow as if I’ve been right along beside them. I would love for you to grow along with me!
After an extensive career in retail management, I felt it was time to change career paths and utilize my years of warming care, friendly encouragement and desire to make those around me succeed. Mrs. Alera's classroom is a blessing to meet that goal for the students and those around me.
I am an avid fan of super heroes, videogames and movies. The zoo, camping and beach evenings have always been my happy places. I just recently got married over the summer and now I'm currently planning to enroll in college to become a Special Education teacher!

I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and valued, and I am excited to be someone they can count on throughout their school day.
