My name is Rachel Reed Turner and I have been teaching for 26 years. I graduated with a BA in Spanish from Erskine College in Due West, SC. I attended language school at La Universidad de Valencia in Spain, and I received my Master's Degree in Technology in Education through Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass. I also teach Spanish Virtual School for Greenville County Schools. I am a Master Promethean Educator, and a Google Certified Teacher. I am also a HUGE proponent of public education. As the new Greenville County Schools Future Teacher Academy Specialist, I focus on mentoring and recruiting high school seniors interested in becoming educators. Love First! Teach Second!

I married my childhood love, Kyle Turner, and we have a son (Tristan) and daughter-in-law (Hannah) and who live and work near Savannah Georgia. Before I married, I traveled extensively! I spent the summers exploring or studying in multiple foreign countries including Spain and Morocco. I have also visited France, Portugal, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Now, my husband and I love to spend time together on the water. The Florida Keys is our favorite vacation destination.
