Holiday Assistance
Thirty-three years ago, one employee at Greer Police Department started the Cops for Tots Program as a way to help a small number of struggling families in the Greer area at Christmastime. The program was established to provide gifts for children who otherwise would have no gifts to open on Christmas day. Since that time, the program has grown exponentially and now helps hundreds of children each December. For the Greer Police Department, they take seriously the call to partner with their community and foster positive relationships between officers and children. They look forward each year to giving the gift of joy to our area children!
Families needing assistance through this year's Cops for Tots program may pick up an application in the Greer Police Department lobby from November 1-18, 2022. (Monday-Friday Only), 8:30am-4:30pm. Completed applications will be accepted through November 18, 2022 only. The program is open to children from birth to twelve years of age.
