Battle of the Books is a book trivia competition for middle school students. Members of the RMS Battle of the Books' team are expected to read all 10 books that are on the designated middle school Battle of the Books list. Practices will occur at 8 am monthly and then twice a week starting in December until the final competition. In the spring, Battle of the Books team will compete in a regional competition with other middle school teams from our area. The competition is a quiz show style contest where 5 team members from 2 different schools go head to head answering trivia questions about the books they have read. If we win both rounds at our first competition, we get to compete a second night at the district competition. Final dates and location are yet to be determined. Please stop by the library or email Mrs. Glenn or Mrs. Bramhall for more information.
