Hello families!
Welcome to an exciting year in 6th grade at Hughes Academy! I'm so happy to be part of your child’s journey and look forward to partnering with you for a successful school year.
In 6th grade, our teachers work hard to make sure expectations are clear, consistent, and supportive for all students. But we can’t do it alone—we need you on the team, too!
🌟 Here’s how you can stay connected and support your child’s success:
Be your child’s biggest advocate. Stay involved and ask questions!
Check their Google Classrooms and teacher websites regularly for updates, assignments, and important info.
Peek in their backpack at least once a week—you never know what’s hiding in there!
If you ever have concerns, please reach out to your child’s teacher first. They know your student best during the school day.
And if you still need help, I’m just a message or call away—my goal is always to support your child’s growth and success.
Let’s make this year one to remember!
