Hello! My name is Jeff Purcell and I am so excited to start my fourth year at Fisher Middle! I attended Baylor University in Waco, TX where I earned my Bachelor's in Music Education. I began teaching in Fort Worth ISD at Young Women's Leadership Academy, where I served as the Director of Bands and Orchestras from 2016-2020. Afterwards, I moved to Greenville, SC and served as the Orchestra Director at Chapin Middle School from 2020-2023. 

I believe in raising the "student musician", with student at the forefront. In our orchestras, your child will enjoy learning music, working with others, problem solving, developing soft skills, and creating positive memories with their peers. 

We are a family here in the music wing, and we are so glad that you have chosen our program!
