Hi! I am one of the Reading Interventionists at Paris Elementary. I have been teaching for 13 years, and this will be my 5th year teaching Reading Intervention. I am thrilled to be teaching reading and supporting students in their reading skill development.

I love teaching and feel called to helping students grow and learn. I feel blessed to be able to help students learn how to read. Reading can be a daunting skill for some students. I am passionate about helping students strengthen these skills and become more confident in reading.

Education:

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University. After my undergrad classes, I added Early Childhood certification at the University of South Carolina Upstate. Additionally, I hold a Master's Degree in Literacy from Clemson University, Go Tigers!

Hobbies:

When I’m not teaching or working on school stuff, my husband, Josh, and I love to go for hikes around Paris Mountain. We also love to drink coffee at any of the numerous coffee shops around town. We also love going to movies.

Hi! I am one of the Reading Interventionists at Paris Elementary. This will be my 17th year teaching! I have taught multiple Early Childhood grades as well as Special Education. This will be my second year as a Reading Interventionist, and I feel so blessed to serve this population of students who are near and dear to my heart. I am passionate about meeting kids where they are and growing their confidence and passion for reading.

Education:

I hold my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina. I also went on to receive my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Clemson University.

Hobbies:

I am married to my husband Mitchell and we have one daughter, Layla, who also attends Paris Elementary! In our free time we love to travel any chance we get. We live our best life by the water and get to the beach as often as we can!
