meet the teacher
meet Mrs. Amanda Peeler!

Hi! I am one of the Reading Interventionists at Paris Elementary. I have been a teacher for 10 years. I taught Kindergarten for 2 years and 1st grade for 7, and this will be my second year in Reading Intervention. I am thrilled to be teaching reading and supporting students in this way.

I love teaching and feel called to helping students grow and learn. I feel blessed to be able to help students learn how to read. Reading can be a daunting skill for some students, and I am passionate about helping students strengthen these skills and become more confident in reading.

Education:

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University. After my undergrad classes, I added Early Childhood certification at the University of South Carolina Upstate. Additionally, I hold a Master's Degree in Literacy from Clemson University, Go Tigers!

Hobbies:

When I’m not teaching or working on school stuff, my husband, Josh, and I love to go for hikes around Paris Mountain. We also love to drink coffee at any of the numerous coffee shops around town. We also love going to movies.
