One of the greatest joys of my life is being your school counselor! This year marks my twentieth year in education, and I can truly say that Sterling is one of my favorite places to be.
When I’m not at school, I’m spending time with my wonderful family. I’m married and have two amazing boys — Rhett (12) and Drake (6) — who keep me on my toes! I love to travel, and my perfect day is reading a good book on the beach in Florida.
Just like you, I’m still writing my story — one page at a time. I’m so excited to be part of your journey this year as we all grow, learn, and discover who we’re becoming. Let’s make it a great chapter together!

This year, our theme is “Our Story in the Making.” Just like an author creates characters and plots, you are the author of your own life story. Each day is a new page filled with chances to learn, grow, and show the world who you really are.
In school, you will face challenges, celebrate successes, and discover new things about yourself. Sometimes the story will be exciting and fun, and other times it might be tough or confusing — and that’s okay. Every experience helps shape your unique story.
My job as your school counselor is to help you feel confident and supported as you write your story. Whether you need someone to listen, advice to solve problems, or encouragement to try new things, I am here for you.
Remember, you have the power to make your story one of kindness, courage, and integrity. I can’t wait to see how your story unfolds this year!
