Regionals

DECA Regionals is the first major competitive event in the DECA competition season. It is a qualifying tournament where high school students compete in various business and marketing events to advance to the state level. Regional competitions typically occur in November, bringing together DECA chapters from multiple schools within a geographic region.

At Regionals, students can only compete in Individual Events. Here is a list of the categories students can choose from. If they qualify in their individual event, they can also compete in that category at state and ICDC.
