ICDC stands for the International Career Development Conference. It is DECA's premier international competition, bringing together the best high school and college students from around the world to compete in business and marketing challenges. To earn a spot at ICDC, students must first excel at their state-level DECA competition. Only the top 3-4 finishers in each competitive event at the state level qualify to advance to this international stage. ICDC is an exclusive competition featuring the most skilled student competitors from each participating state and country. It is held annually at the end of April, giving students approximately two months to prepare after their state competitions in February. The conference location rotates each year between San Fransico, CA; Atlanta, GA; Orlando, FL; and Anaheim, CA. ICDC represents the pinnacle of high school business education competition. Qualified students demonstrate exceptional business knowledge and skills, making them attractive candidates for top colleges and future employers. The experience provides unmatched opportunities for personal growth, professional networking, and career development in the business world.
