About ME

Ms. Chelsea Bergmann

Hey there! My name is Chelsea Bergmann and I am starting my 9th year of teaching. This is my 4th year here at Wade Hampton. I am so excited to share my love of reading and writing this 2023-2024 school year!

I moved here to Greenville from Rock Hill, SC, where I lived and studied at Winthrop University for about 9 years (BA and MA). I used to teach in Chester County where I was named the 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year for Great Falls High School.

When I'm not thinking about teaching English, I enjoy traveling, reading, hiking, and yoga. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and love playing video games. I also have two cats, Vader and Corvo.
