AVID 7th Grade

Course Description:

• The AVID program helps students develop the academic habits they will need to be successful, not only in middle school, but in high school and college as well.

• AVID students will learn about organization, study skills, communication, and self-advocacy.

• We will learn, and practice, taking structured notes and answer and ask high-level questions that go beyond routine questions.

• The AVID program also encourages students to think about their college and career plans. The AVID program will provide the academic foundation students need to be on a path for career and college success.
