Hi families! My name is Mrs. De La Torre, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher! This is my second year teaching and my third year working in education. I am currently a graduate student at the University of South Carolina, where I am working toward my Master’s in Education. I have also had the joy of working with children with autism for the past seven years, and I am passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels supported, loved, and celebrated.
A few fun facts about me: I love 7 Brew, the color green, and Taco Bell! I am so lucky to have a wonderful team of classroom aides by my side, and together, we are committed to making this a fun, safe, and welcoming place for your child to learn and grow. We will love and care for your children like they are our own, and we cannot wait to see all the amazing things they accomplish this year!
Hi! My name is Mrs. D and I have worked with Greenville County Schools for 13 years. I am married and have 3 children, ages 22, 18, and 8. I love been a paraprofessional and enjoy helping others in need.
As a hobby I like to dance, play soccer, and listen to music. I also love to color in my free time. My favorite colors are black and white, I like orchid flowers, and I love all kind of milk chocolates.
I cannot wait to meet you all.
Hi, everyone! My name is Mr. Andy, and I’m so excited to welcome you to another wonderful year at Crestview Elementary!
This is my 8th year at Crestview, and I truly feel blessed to be part of such an amazing school family. My journey began right after graduating high school when I joined the after-school program. I then spent two years as a substitute teacher before being asked to serve as Crestview’s permanent in-house substitute. After that, I had the opportunity to work as a paraprofessional in the ID-Mod self-contained classroom for two and a half years. During my third year, I transitioned to the K3–K4 classroom, and I couldn’t be more excited to spend a full school year with our youngest learners!
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to concerts, and making new memories. I also have a dog named Sampson, who is a Labrador/Shar Pei mix and is a big part of my family. My favorite color is green!
I can’t wait to get to know each of my students and their families. I’m looking forward to a year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and lots of fun. It’s going to be a fantastic year!
