CTC Math 7 covers all seventh-grade standards and select eighth-grade standards across the four strands: Data, Probability, and Statistical Reasoning; Measurement, Geometric and Spatial Reasoning; Numerical Reasoning; and Patterns, Algebraic, and Functional Reasoning. Students will analyze data sets, calculate probabilities, and explore geometric figures' areas and volumes. They will extend their understanding of real numbers, including conversions and operations. Additionally, students will deepen their knowledge of proportional relationships and solve various problems involving expressions, equations, and inequalities all while enhancing critical thinking and collaboration skills. Throughout the course, students will strengthen their mathematical reasoning through a focus on key process standards: Problem Solving, Representation & Communication, Connections, Analyzing & Justifying, and Recognizing Structure & Patterns.
