Algebra 1 Honors

Algebra I Honors is an extensive study of algebraic concepts as well as data and statistics. This high school level course requires the of a standardized, cumulative End of Course Exam that constitutes 20% of the students' yearly grade. Topics covered include exponents, linear, quadratic and exponential functions, systems of equations and problem solving (equations, inequalities, absolute value equations and inequalities). Students in this course use technology as well has modeling activities to help provide real-world context to our concepts.

Our textbook this year is the Pearson enVision hard cover and online texts. To access our textbook for this course, please go to the education apps on backpack and use the link named Pearson EasyBridge. This will provide excellent resources to supplement what we are doing in the classroom as well as provide extra practice opportunities and guided examples for when students are absent. All assignments will be posted on google classroom.
