Mrs. Myers

I am thrilled to be returning for my second year at Monarch!  I started teaching in 2001 and have experience with preschool all the way up to middle school.  Third and Fourth Grades are my favorite!  I took  a ten year break from teaching to stay home with my daughter, so I am doing my best to learn and keep up with all of the changes! 

I have been married to my husband, Brandt, for 20 years.  We have moved around a lot, but we think we have found our forever home in the upstate.  We have been here for 5 years and absolutely love it.  We have a 14 year old daughter, Caroline.  She will be a freshman this year and she loves to sing.  We also have a goofy Golden Retriever named Barry, a slightly grumpy black and white cat named Julie and a totally crazy orange cat named Justin.  

Outside of school, I love to cook, read, craft, play games, go to the theater and be with friends and family.  My husband and I are slightly obsessed with playing Trivia and have a regular weekly game we attend.  

I am looking forward to an awesome year in 4th Grade!
