Blue Folder and Agenda: Every Tuesday I will send
their blue folder home with graded assignments and forms to fill out. They will be divided by return to school and keep at home. This year they will have an agenda that they are responsible for filling out
on Monday. I will send home a study guide for most tests/quizzes and usually offer 5 bonus points if they complete it.
Chromebooks: They must charge to 100% and return to school everyday! PLEASE CHARGE THEM EVERY NIGHT! Dojo points will be taken if they are on a low battery, dead, or not returned each day.
Homework/Tests/quizzes: The only homework I assign is to study for tests and quizzes. If a student does not complete any classwork, it may be sent
home to complete that night to be returned the next day. We have weekly spelling and multiplication quizzes to study for.
Online Absences Excuse Link:
Snacks and Water bottles: Please only send one
HEALTHY snack a day. No cookies, candy, or
gummies. We need water bottles at school daily.
WATER ONLY PLEASE.
GOOGLE CLASSROOM: When students are
out, they can keep up with our lessons, projects, and tests. Please don't let them tell you "my computer doesn't work at home". All they need to do is press the blue and white icon on their desktops that says "GCSD Authenticate". They put in their username and password. All passwords to sites and their logins to chromebooks are on a sheet in the front of their binder. If they are feeling well, please have them do their work. I will usually send a list of what they need to complete for the day. They get quite overwhelmed and upset when they come back to school and they have so much makeup work to do, and they are lost on all the content they have missed.
