Absences
Either a doctor's note or a parent note explaining WHY the student was absent is required for ANY absence. The note should be turned in to the office within 2 days of the student's return to school.

Attendance codes you may see in Parent Backpack:
BRV: death in family
DSML: left without attending 3 hours
MED: medical note
Nurs: sent home by school nurse
PN: excused parent note
REL: religious
UEPN: Unexcused parent note
UNEX: unexcused/unverified
