Hello students and families!
Welcome to an exciting year of reading, writing, and discovering the power of language! In our 7th grade English classes, we'll explore amazing stories, develop our writing skills, and learn to express our ideas with confidence and creativity.
Throughout this year, you can expect to:
Read diverse texts that challenge your thinking and spark meaningful discussions;
Write in multiple genres and for different audiences and purposes;
Build critical thinking skills as we analyze literature and media;
Collaborate with classmates on projects that bring learning to life; and
Grow as communicators through speaking, listening, and presenting.
In our classroom, we value respect, curiosity, and the unique perspectives each student brings. We'll celebrate our successes, learn from our mistakes, and support one another as we grow as readers, writers, and thinkers.
I'm thrilled to be your guide on this journey, and I can't wait to see all that you'll accomplish this year!
Questions? Feel free to reach out anytime. I'm here to help you succeed!
