Class Expectation and Routines

1. Come in quietly.

2. Find your seat.

3. Sit down. 

4. Prepare for class.

• 1. Read the Learning Targets and Agenda on the board.

• 2. Gather needed materials.

• 3. Begin Bellwork.

1. Complete following bellwork directions.

2. Write your bellwork answer on your notebook.

• 1. Stay seated unless directions 

• state otherwise.

• 2. Complete task as directed by 

• teacher.

• 3. Stay focused on tasks.

1. Move to the area of the group.

2. Collaborate and stay focused on tasks.

• 1. Put away all unnecessary items.

• 2. Use pencil and paper to take notes.

• 3. Focus on information in video.

instead of sharpening your pencil, ask for the teacher to trade your pencil. No sharpening during class instruction.

• 1. Place trash on the floor next to the desk.

• 2. Throw away at the end of class.

1.  Raise hand with two fingers crossed. (R in Sign Language)

2.  Wait to be acknowledged and given permission.

3.  Set your smart pass. 

4.  Move straight to the restroom.

5.  Use the restroom.

6.  Wash your hands.

7.  Move straight back to class.

8. End your smart pass.

• 1. Wait until the teacher says to pack up.

• 2. Put things away. 

• 3. Stay seated. 

1. Wait until the teacher gives a signal.

2. Stand up quietly.

3. Walk out the door.

4. Go directly to your next class. 

• Leaving the room one minute after the set schedule.

• Go straight to your next class. 

• No wandering in the hallway. No water or restroom break.
