School Owned Guitar Responsible Use Procedures 2025-2026

Do not loan the instrument to friends or family members.
Do not leave the instrument in an unsecure location.
Do not get the instrument wet.
Do not eat while playing the instrument. Wash hands before touching the instrument if you have just eaten.
Do not leave the instrument in the hallway at school or a classroom other than the strings room.
Do not leave the instrument on a chair or the floor. (Or on a stand!)
Do not drop the instrument.
Do not hit the instrument on anything.
Do not play the instrument with fingernails that extend beyond the fingertip.
Hold the instrument only as directed by the instructor.
Put instrument away in your designated storage slot.
