1st Block

                                                  String Instrument Responsible Use Procedures 2025-2026

1. Do not loan the instrument to friends or family members.

2. Do not leave the instrument in an unsecure location.

3. Do not leave the instrument in the car.

4. Do not leave the instrument outside or in the garage.

5. Do not get the instrument wet.

6. Do not eat while playing the instrument. Wash hands before touching the instrument if you have just eaten.

7. Do not turn the pegs on your own……Mrs. Hastings will help you tune the instrument.

8. Do not leave the instrument in the hallway at school or a classroom other than the strings room.

9. Do not leave the instrument on a chair or the floor. (Or on a stand!)

10. Do not drop the instrument. 

11. Do not hit the instrument on anything.

12. Do not play the instrument with fingernails that extend beyond the fingertip.

13. Hold the instrument only as directed by the instructor.

14. Make sure your first and last name is clearly visible on the instrument case.
