Hello Everyone! Welcome to First Grade!! 

My name is Kristen Wyatt and I am thrilled to be your child's first grade teacher!! This will be my 11th year teaching first grade at Buena Vista Elementary. I received my B.A. in Early Childhood Education from USC Upstate and my Masters in Teaching and Learning specializing in Effective and Reflective Teaching through Clemson University. In 2015, I married my high school sweetheart, Robert. We have two kids- our son, Hudson (7), who is also a Bobcat, and our daughter, Mavery (4). We love spending time outside as a family and making memories with our kids. 

I am so excited to build a relationship with you and your child! This school year will be filled with lots of fun, engaging, hands-on activities that are standard-based! I truly believe the future of the world lies within the walls of my classroom and I am excited to watch your child thrive this year through personalized learning experiences. I look forward to helping your child grow both emotionally, socially, and academically, and helping them finish the school year strong and confident! Thank you so much for trusting me with your precious child. We are going to have a fantastic year together!
