Introduction: Expectations, Procedures and Benchmark ~ 1 week

Unit 1: Let’s Get Started (How to survive in Spanish class) ~ 2 weeks

Unit 2: My Friends and I ~ 3 weeks

Unit 3: My School Life ~ 3 weeks

Unit 4: Let’s Eat ~ 3 weeks

Unit 5: Home Sweet Home ~ 3 weeks

Unit 6: My Community ~ 3 weeks

Major assessments = 60% (tests, projects and IPA tasks)

Minor assessments = 40% (quizzes, mini-projects, class work, homework, etc.)

Final grade is calculated as follows: 

1st semester grade = 45%, 2nd semester grade = 45%, Final exam = 10%
