Magnet Focus Areas

There are three Magnet focus areas to choose from at J. L. Mann High School:  Mathematics, Science and Technology.  Magnet students must complete one focus area in order to earn Magnet distinction; they may add a second or third for additional graduation distinctions if they wish.  

The courses listed are in addition to the coursework required for a South Carolina diploma.  Substitutions for required courses are not permitted.  If a required course is not available due to master scheduling restrictions or an SCSDE change, an alternate course will be offered.
