Magnet Focus Areas
MATH, SCIENCE, AND TECHNOLOGY
J. L. Mann High School has three magnet focus areas.
The three magnet focus areas at the school are mathematics, science, and technology.
In addition to basic South Carolina graduation requirements, all magnet students must take one creative arts unit, three or more units of the same foreign language, and complete a Senior Capstone Experience.
All magnet students graduate with at least 26 units (two units beyond basic South Carolina graduation requirements). If students intend to graduate with double magnet distinction, they will graduate with at least 28 units. If students intend to graduate with triple magnet distinction, they will graduate with at least 30 units.
