Media Tech 1-2-3 is a stacked course, meaning we have students in all three courses in the same classroom. Students will collaborate to produce our daily newscast, "INN a Minute". In addition, students will have the freedom to create content that interests them. Students will maintain a "Demo Reel" which will be updated throughout the semester for their "MAJOR" grades. "MINOR" grades will come from presentations, quizzes, daily/weekly assignments, INNvision Media projects, etc. and students will also be graded on "Professionalism".
Three sections of Media Tech 1-2-3 will be offered 1st semester. Students in the three classes will work a rotation to produce our daily newscast "INN a Minute" while also continuing work in their group and/or individual projects.
As part of INNvision Media Productions and as a stacked program, students will be working on a variety of different projects at different times. This means weekly lessons and plans may change per class or even per student based on needs for productions that are ongoing. Below is the overall Lesson Plans for Fall Semester of 2025 (dates and lessons are subject to change).
Media Technology 1-2-3 Course Overview

Media Technology 1-2-3 Professionalism Rubric
NOTE: The Profesisonalism Rubric is the basis for much of our grading system. Students are encouraged to try new things and to take risks. Because of this Work Habits is worth more points than Work Quality. This rubric factors into the professionalism for almost everything we do in Media Tech.
Media Technology 1-2-3 Demo Reel Project Rubrics
NOTE: This is an outline of the planned projects. Media Tech allows students the opportunity to pitch their own projects, which may result in different rubrics for different students depending on what they need to accomplish on their productions.
