 What is INNvision Media Productions?

INNvision Media is the student created content produced as part of the Media Technology and Film program and the INNvision Media Club. Students produce "INN a Minute", our daily newscast which provides updates for students, parents and the Fountain Inn community.  INNvision Media is student driven, meaning students own their learning and have the freedom to create content that is of interest to them.

In Media Technology and Film, students explore the world of media production. In addition to producing "INN a Minute", students have the freedom to create content that interests them.

The INNVision Media Club was formed for students who were interested in creating content for Fury athletics and other FIHS extracurricular activities like band, chorus, strings and drama performances. The club is open to all students, even if they are not currently enrolled in the media tech program. The club meets as needed to ensure we have "crews" able to cover events for Fountain Inn High.

If you are interested in the INNvision Media Club, text @fihsin to 81010 to join our Remind group or contact Coach Hoffman at jhoffman@greenville.k12.sc.us .

About Coach Hoffman

I am entering my 5th year of teaching Media Tech & Film and my 21st year of coaching high school football. Prior to teaching, I spent 14 years working as a videographer/editor for the GCS Communications Department.

I am honored to be recognized as the Fountain Inn Teacher of the Year for the 2023-24 school year.

I graduated from Ohio University with a bachelors in Communications-Video Production and a minor in Film. After school I worked for a OSV Productions in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2001 I moved to Columbus and worked for the local ABC affiliate and as a freelance camera operator for Columbus Blue Jacket hockey games. In 2002 we packed up and moved to Greenville County.

I have been married to my wife Kelly for 22 years and we have three children. Kelly is the Creative Services Director for WYFF-TV. My oldest, Alex, will be a freshman at Clemson University where he will study engineering. My middle daughter will be a sophomore at Wade Hampton High and my youngest will head to 6th grade at Sevier Middle.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, watching sports, exploring SC State Parks and historic sites and watching movies. Empire Strikes Back was the first film I ever saw as a small child and I have been a huge Star Wars fan ever since.

Can't wait to see the creativity that students bring to class this year!
