Media Technology 4 Lesson Plans
Media Technology 4 is an independent learning class where students pitch and create the projects they want to create. Students will create their own production plans (lesson plans) and work independently or in small groups to complete their projects.
Throughout the semester we will have reviews of our core learning areas of Safety, Professional Knowledge, Three Phases of Production, Employability and Professionalism. As our 4th and final level of Media Tech, we will also explore the history and production development of film. These lessons will work around the schedules students create and are meant to supplement them with knowledge of the history of the media industry.
Grading in Media Tech 4 will be based on rubrics the students help create based on the type of productions they want to produce. We will have weekly check-ins to monitor progress and grade productivity based off our Employability Rubric: Work Quality, Work Habits, Dependability
