Allow your student to work on MATHia for extra help. MATHia is our online source that follows our Carnegie Learning curriculum from their textbook. A little extra time every day will help your child grow in their abilities very quickly.
Don't ask your child how they are doing in class, Have them work and explain how to solve their assignments for you instead. This provides them an opportunity to explain "what and why" while also showing you what we are learning in class.
Monitor your student's grades through the online backpack. This platform is very quick to update when new grades have been entered. The more it is used the easier it will be to keep our students to higher expectations.
