Meeting Mr. Mahon

Northwest gave me an experience early in my career as an aspiring educator. I had recently graduated college with my music degree and was subbing in GCSD. A two-week subbing math class experience founded my love for teaching math. Without NWMS, who knows what I would be doing today?

Our First time painting from a blank white canvas @paintingwithatwist. This was such a fun time of laughs and love of working together following the steps from our instructor. Overall, a great time spent with my wife Brooke

Our two "Furbabies Phantom (right 8) and Callie (left 7). Phantom was named after the iconic "Phantom of the Opera" and Callie got her name from being a normal Calico breed. They both love to cuddle.

My wife Brooke and I welcomed our first born Greyson Luke into the world on July 1, 2022, and wieghed 8lbs 12oz. He is definitely a handful, but also the biggest bundle of joy and love. We are both thrilled to become parents and have already begun creating stories and memories to share for a lifetime with Greyson.

Family Newborn Age

1st day of daycare

I have always had a joy of music. I began playing trumpet in middle school and switched to percussion in high school. During high school, I was an avid Marching Band student. Those were the most exciting and fun times during my high school years which aspired me to pursue Music Education. I graduated from Southern Wesleyan University in 2014 receiving my B.A. in K-12 Music Ed. In 2021, I graduated from Anderson University receiving my Masters (M.S.) in Instructional Design with Learning Technology (IDLT).
