In Geometry with Statistics, students incorporate knowledge and skills from several mathematics content areas, leading to a deeper understanding of fundamental relationships within the discipline and building a solid foundation for further study. The focus in Geometry with Statistics is concentrated within the strands of Data, Probability, and Statistical Reasoning; Measurement, Geometry, and Spatial Reasoning; Numerical Reasoning; and Patterns, Algebra, and Functional Reasoning.

Geometry is an exciting and dynamic branch of mathematics that builds on prior knowledge and encourages students to explore patterns, relationships, and reasoning through shapes, coordinates, and algebraic concepts. Throughout this course, we will investigate how to solve problems logically, prove theorems and conjectures, and discover the unique properties of polygons and other geometric figures. We’ll also connect these ideas to algebra and the coordinate plane to deepen our understanding.
What makes Geometry special is its visual and logical nature—it’s unlike any other math class! I love teaching Geometry because it allows students to explore concepts through hands-on activities and real-world connections. My goal is to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love for math as we journey through this fascinating subject together.
