Challenge Class is all about developing the dispositions of a successful lifelong learner. Therefore, our progress reports, which students receive after the first and second semesters, reflect these goals. 

Students will reflect on their learning each week.  Challenge Grades are labeled as: Excellent, Satisfactory, or Needs Improvement. Check out our weekly reflection sheet below. I will let parents know if students are consistently scoring in the "Needs Work" category. 

Classroom Rules:
1. Be Kind.
2. Be respectful.
3. Be responsible.
4. Be safe.
We discuss the many ways these rules can be applied to make our classroom fun and efficient. If students break the rules, they are given one warning. If the student breaks the rule a second time, they will complete a reflection sheet. Students will bring reflection sheets home to parents, and I will email parents to keep them informed.
