Online Dictionaries
Remember that when using English-Spanish dictionaries, you should always look at the examples of how the word is used in a sentence to be sure it is the word you want to use. For example, if you want to say he is a fan of basketball, you might have to look up the Spanish word for fan. The dictionary will give you the words abanico, ventilador, and aficionado. The first two words are words for fans used for cooling oneself. Only aficionado is appropriate for what you want to say. This type of information can only be acquired by reading beyond the initial translation in the dictionary. Be sure to be good dictionary users and look at the new words in context.
