Lesson plans, upcoming work, announcements, assignments, etc., for my classes are conveniently posted in Google Classroom. If your email address is in the Hillcrest High School database, I have invited you to join the Google Classroom for your teen’s class. If you have not received an invitation to join Google Classroom, Hillcrest High School cannot access your email address. Please email me at acuyar@greenville.k12.sc.us so I can add your information to my Google Classroom and send you the invitation. Also, contact the school to request that your email address be added to the HHS database. I highly recommend you join our Google Classroom. Your access to Google Classroom is an invaluable resource for you as we work together to ensure your teen’s success in Spanish class. Joining Google Classroom will enable you to receive convenient and informative email summaries of your student’s work and progress in a class. The email summaries you receive will include the following information:
Missing work—Work not turned in when the summary was sent.
Upcoming work—Work that’s due today and tomorrow (for daily emails) or due in the upcoming week (for weekly emails).
Class activities—Announcements, assignments, and questions recently posted by teachers.
To get email summaries of your student’s work, you must accept the email invitation you received from me. You have 120 days to accept an invitation before it expires. You can unsubscribe from summaries or remove yourself at any time.
If you have not already joined your teen’s Google Classroom, please do the following:
In your email program, open the invitation you received from me.
Click Accept to confirm.
You and your student will get an email confirmation when you accept an invitation.
Access to Google Classroom and PowerSchool through the Parent Backpack will provide you with everything needed to remain updated on your teen’s progress and help ensure your teen’s success in class.
