Welcome to First Grade

Dear High Flyer Families,

Welcome to our first grade classroom where we work to "Always do our best!" My goal is to provide a positive and well-managed classroom that will benefit all children academically, foster a community of learners, and support each child during the first grade experience. My educational philosophy is that every child can learn. Although there may be differences in how children learn, it is my responsibility to draw out and encourage the best in every child.

I am committed to providing an exceptional learning environment that encourages and nurtures the best in an atmosphere that is safe, loving and kind. Working as a team will be necessary to ensure that your child meets and/or exceeds the academic performance standards throughout his/her first grade experience.
