A Message from our School Counselors

Fork Shoals Families:

We hope that everyone is well and safe! We miss seeing your faces! This is a new territory for us and we are glad to have everyone helping us navigate these new waters. We also want you to know the Fork Shoals school counselors are available during regular school hours if you or our students need anything. The best way to contact us is through email or by calling our office phones. We will do our best to respond quickly.

Be sure that you have checked out the social emotional learning activities and other activities that our students can complete along with their regular academic eLearning activities. These are posted in the school counseling google classroom. Each classroom teacher has the code for the classroom. In the eLearning plans our activities are located under the “related arts eLearning lessons” under “guidance.”

We know times of isolation can heighten anxiety and worry in children. We also wanted to pass along another resource for free mindfulness classes for kids through mindfulschools.org. that can help with these issues. We will continue to share resources as we go through this eLearning process. We can’t wait to see you when we get back to school!
