Field Day is still a go! We will be participating in a Virtual Field Day. OPEN has provided some great individual Field Day activities that you can participate in from home using household products. OPEN activities are attached with directions. Field Day relays that we have participated in at Fork Shoals in prior years are also attached. Please do some of these relays by yourself or with your family on your scheduled Field Day date. You can also modify the relays or design your own relays. It's your Field Day fun so enjoy and be creative! Links for the lists of activities are below.
Flipgrid links are listed below for you to post videos of you or you and your family participating in the Field Day relays. Post and let us see the fun that you are having! (If you choose not to use Flipgrid, feel free to post in SeeSaw, or share pictures with your child's classroom teacher!! Your child's teacher will be sharing some of themselves as well.

I hope you are all doing well! I have been doing some Flipgrid physical-activity videos with my third, fourth and fifth grade students over the last couple of weeks. Hey everyone,
I made a slideshow to support the art prompts/assignments that the district created for the second packet for K-2nd, for April 1-9. The assignments were simple but the wording seemed a little tricky for the younger kids so I thought this could supplement it or even just give ideas to parents for a couple of art activities for the next two weeks. Feel free to use this! I'll also be adding it to my google classroom at some point. Hope everyone is well.

Save the Ice Experiment! Using FANS Materials
Roper Mountain Science Center's Richane Robbins shows parents how to use some of the materials provided each day by our FANS meal delivery to do a super cool experiment!

Visit Seesaw to view daily videos from your child's teacher.
Either watch or read the instructions below regarding how to log in to your child's SeeSaw account:
Choose "I’m a Student"
Choose "Sign in with Google"
Type in your child's username followed by "@greenvilleschools.us" If you do not have this login information, please contact your child's teacher for that information.
A new window will appear asking you to sign in with your child's GCS District account (input username and password again, please).
You will then be routed to SeeSaw (in the original window, I believe) and all students have already joined their SeeSaw class.
Under the assignments tab, daily assignments and teaching videos will be uploaded and available indicating the "Day ..." they are to be completed following the Greenville County eLearning calendar. Any student work, once complete we will be able to see and respond to!
