Classroom Counseling Lessons: School Counselors go to each class every month to talk about a range of topics. These topics are focused on meeting students social/emotional, academic, and career development needs. They may include goal setting, mindfulness, calming strategies, conflict resolution skills, and social/emotional learning.
Small Group Counseling: There are several different small groups available to students based on recommendation and grade level needs. Some topics include friendship, self-esteem, academic skills, and building coping skills.
Consultation & Collaboration: I collaborate closely with parents, teachers, administrators, and community partners to ensure every student receives well-rounded support. School counseling works best as a team effort - whether aligning strategies, discussing academic accommodations, or coordinating family resources, I am here to help you navigate your child’s growth and success.
Crisis Response & Referral Services: I offer immediate assistance and safety-focused care during times of crisis or acute need. For concerns that require long-term therapy or specialized care beyond the scope of school-based support, I partner with families by providing referrals and connections to trusted community mental health professionals.
