About Mrs. Fralick
I am excited to start my sixth year as a school counselor at Fork Shoals School! I grew up in Chapin, South Carolina and graduated from Wofford College (go Terriers!) I finished my Masters of Education and Education Specialist Degrees in School Counseling from Clemson University and am also a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a passion for working with kids and equipping them to be their own problem solvers because my elementary school counselor made an impact on me!
In my free time I enjoy spending time outside: hiking, biking, running, and hanging out with friends. I got married in June 2025 and am enjoying time with my husband, Taylor. I'm looking forward to learning alongside the students and faculty of Fork Shoals School!
About Ms. Heitman
My name is Ashton Heitman, and I'm excited to join the Fork Shoals community as the new school counselor for the 2026–2027 school year! I recently earned my Master's of Education and Education Specialist Degrees from Clemson University. This will be my fourth year with Greenville County Schools, and I've had the opportunity to serve at Buena Vista Elementary as the Permanent Substitute and Extended Day Program Director before completing counseling internships at Travelers Rest High, Woodmont Middle, and Sue Cleveland Elementary. Those experiences confirmed my passion for building meaningful relationships and creating a safe, supportive environment where every student can thrive.
Outside of school, my favorite role is being mom to our one-year-old son, Talon Emerson. I also love exploring TJ Maxx and HomeGoods, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone at Fork Shoals—please don't hesitate to stop by and say hello!
