Mrs. Mains

My name is Jessica Mains, and I am excited to join FIE as a part-time School Counselor for the 2025-2026 year! I will be in the building every morning to help with student, staff, and family needs. I will also be providing in-class lessons to our 4K classroom once a week.

I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development. In 2013, I earned a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. My husband Scott and I are both Pennsylvania natives who moved to the area from Connecticut two years ago. We have three boys (two at FIE and one in PreK) who keep us busy and exhausted. I enjoy reading, music, theater, walking, baking, eating ice cream, and building a good wooden train track.

Because I was an FIE parent before I became an FIE employee, I understand how to navigate working with the school and district on a personal level. I am happy to help you with any of your needs this year. I look forward to serving our Fountain Inn community and getting to know our amazing students. My own family’s experience with Fountain Inn Elementary has been truly remarkable, and my hope is that you can have that same positive experience.

My office hours are Monday - Friday from 7:45am to 11:30am during the school year.
