Mrs. Benham

Hello!! 

My name is Alexis Benham. I will be serving grades 2nd, 4th, some of 1st and some of Kindergarten as a School Counselor here at Fountain Inn Elementary this year! I am excited to continue to work with some of my students from last year and new ones as well! 

I graduated from Lander University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and then my Masters in General School Counseling from Walden University. I previously worked as an ABA Therapist for children with Autism, then I started with Greenville County in 2020 as a Behavior Coach while getting my masters. I officially became a School Counselor in 2022 and have been with FIE since!

I live here in Fountain Inn on a little hobby farm with my husband (Micah), our son (Miller), 2 dogs, 3 cats, many goats, chickens and ducks. I love spending time with my family, friends and animals. My husband and I had our son in the beginning of 2024! We enjoy doing anything outside and going on new adventures. I love to practice yoga, watch football and enjoy music in my free time. 

I can't wait to continue working with our Firefly Families, students, parents and staff to best support and meet everyone's' needs!

My office hours are Monday-Friday from 7:45am to 3:00pm during the school year.
