Earlier this month the Greenville County Schools Board of Trustees approved the 2018-2023 Strategic Plan. Many, if not most of you, contributed to this plan by completing surveys, attending community forums, and/or serving on the Strategic Planning Stakeholder Team. We deeply appreciate your participation in this important work that will guide and direct the focus and intentionality of our work over the next five years. As the result of seven months of effort in which we received and analyzed feedback, drafted and revised the plan’s framework, and set and adapted the performance goals, strategies, and action, we believe the finalized 2018-2023 Strategic Plan accurately reflects the values and expectations of our community’s internal and external stakeholders. In the coming months you will receive more detailed information on this plan, but in the meantime, here is an overview of the Strategic Plan’s framework. This document reflects the district’s revised vision, mission, belief statements, and strategic goal areas, as well as priorities around which the plan was built.
