My name is Mrs. Sanders. This is my 30th year teaching Kindergarten and my 24rd year at Chandler Creek Elementary! Champions Rock! I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Elementary Reading. I also completed a new degree in Project-Based Learning, which will help your child learn in a hands-on way. Reading is one of my all-time favorite past times. I look forward to helping your child find the joy in reading also.

I have two grown sons, two daughters-in-love and one granddaughter, Harper who is the light of our life. Harper is heading to Blue Ridge Middle School in sixth grade this school year. We are active members of our local Baptist church where I sing alto in the choir. I also sing in a South Carolina Baptist Ladies' choir called Seraphsong. This group sings all across the state of South Carolina. I believe that both of these passions make me a better K5 teacher. Children learn and retain information so much better when teaching is put to music. While scrolling through our class page, you will find information about our school and classroom.
