Hello! My name is Megan Boland and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This will be my 15th year teaching. In my career I have worked as a teaching assistant, taught RTI, kindergarten, first, and second grade! Before coming to CCE, I taught for 2 years at Mitchell Road Elementary. I grew up in Iowa, but moved to South Carolina in 2006 to attend college. I graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and received my Masters Degree in Educational Technology from Liberty University. My husband teaches 8th grade Science at Greer Middle and is the A.R.M.E.S. Northern Site Supervisor. We love being part of the Greer community and have lived here since 2011! We have three children, our oldest daughter is a fourth grader at Chandler Creek, and our boys are 2 and 3 months! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, DIY projects, cooking, and reading. My family and I enjoy traveling and are working towards the goal of visiting all 50 states together! We have visited 35 so far! I am looking forward to what this year will hold as we begin a new adventure together!
My name is MacKenzie Wilborne, and I am a student at North Greenville University. I am currently getting my degree in Elementary Education. Working with young kids has been a passion of mine since I was little, I have always babysat and been in the classroom helping other teachers. I am a graduate of Greer High School, where I played softball for all four years. Curently I am coaching a school softball team and a travel team to pour my knowledge into young athletes. During my time at Greer I was a part of the teacher cadet program, where I was placed at Chandler Creek and fell in love with the atmosphere of the school. This past year I served as a substitute for GCS, where I formed relationships with teachers and students. Serving as a substitute and becoming a kindergarten aide will help me grow and gain valuable experience for my future students. I am looking forward to working with the Chandler Creek staff and students every day this school year!
