Welcome to the Eastside Career and Technical Education site. Eastside High School takes pride in offering our students a variety of career and technical educational experiences and opportunities that directly prepares students for high-wage, high-demand careers. These opportunities include acquisition of career skills, college credit, work based learning experiences, internships, apprenticeships and even industry certifications. Career and Technical Education promotes the district’s Graduation Plus initiative aimed at ensuring students graduate College and Career Ready (CCR) with a high school diploma, college credit, and industry certification.
The CTE Department's shared vision is to participate in the ever‐changing global community by giving students, educators, parents and stakeholders’ access to information, which allows for the effective integration of technology into the learning process.
This shared vision aligned to the state and national standards, as well as the district's technology and strategic plans and will be promoted through the various activities and projects developed in each of the CTE classes.
