Important Announcements
Challenge testing for potential Gifted & Talented students in Grades 2–5 will begin after Presidents’ Day.
Because testing for each grade level takes place over multiple days, some Challenge class time will be canceled while assessments are being completed. Thank you for your patience during this important process.
Celebrations from the Week
Over the past month, students have been working in their bridge groups to design a popsicle-stick bridge for our district competition.
Students took their design and created a detailed design on graph paper. They are now actively building their bridges — construction is officially underway!
Additional Information & Looking Ahead
We have officially completed Level 2 of Hands-On Equations — excellent work, students!
Coming up next: Hands-On Fractions. This unit will introduce hands-on tools and visual models to deepen students’ understanding of fractional concepts.
