Greetings!
I want to welcome you to my Social Studies class and hope this will be a wonderful, successful year for all of us. The following guidelines for my classroom procedures are important for you and your child:
Be on time for class. You should be seated and settled when the tardy bell rings.
Bring all the necessary materials to class each day including homework, classroom
materials, and a novel for sustained silent reading.
Be polite to, respectful to, and considerate of me and the students in our class.
Your assignments must be turned in on time. Please refer to the RMS Homework Policy
for more information.
Parents should check the Parent Portal at least once a week.
Parents should check my website at least once a week.
Students should write all assignments in a planner or notebook daily.
Students are responsible for getting their assignments if they are absent.
Students, please talk to me about any assignments you miss due to an absence.
Rules for Student Behavior:
1. Be prompt.
2. Be prepared.
3. Be polite.
Grading Policy and Weighting of Grades will follow the Directive from the Greenville County Schools
