The goal of Physical Education is to promote the optimum physical, mental, ethical, and social development of each student through a series of lectures, demonstrations, games, practice, sportsmanship, role-playing, trial and error learning, and teamwork, while developing an understanding of various activities and movement forms, both team and individual. This will include learning the rules and regulations, developing basic skills, and offensive and defensive strategies. The fitness portion of this class will allow students to develop skills and attitudes used in creating a plan to achieve a personal level of fitness.
