About Me

Hello, my name is Courtney Makis and I am a teacher at Woodland Elementary for grades K-5.  I have previously taught in the Virtual program, at Crestview Elementary and at Hollis Academy.

I attended Clemson University where I obtained my undergraduate degree and my master's degree in special education.  After becoming highly qualified, I taught middle school in Anderson.  I then moved to Greenville and taught kindergarten through fifth grade.  As of May 2006, I completed my Masters plus 30 hours in elementary education.

On a personal note, I am married to a wonderful man named Jason and we have two beautiful children named Jada and CJ. Our family also has two cats named Kingsley and Thomas.

Hi, my name is Erika Rock.  I recently completed my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education through Grand Canyon University.  I also have an associate's degree from Greenville Tech in Early Childhood.  I have been working with children for over 20 years and am excited to be teaching your child at Woodland.  I have two girls of my own.  Their names are Kylie and Kaitlyn.  We also have a cat named Nala.

Hello, my name is Amy Robertson.  I have a bachelor degree in Child and Family Studies from Carson-Newman University.  Like Ms. Rock, I also have two girls and their names are Kathryn and Sarah.  We have a dog named Charlie.  I am thrilled to be at Woodland and look forward to helping your child to succeed.
